Layla Simone a young lady in her twenties is tired of living her life for others, waiting on her man to marry her and putting her dreams on hold.  She’s been "Faking It" for so long that she’s lost sense of self.  She decides to move to L.A. to find herself and to follow her dream of being a writer for the movies and television. She befriends Quassmirah {a gold digger) and starts dating Wesley one of the most popular record executives on the West Coast .  Before she could get comfortable in the lifestyle of the rich and famous, she learns that her brother is in a coma and has to catch a flight back to Jersey.  On the flight home is Czar, Wesleys best friend.  They find themselves attracted to one another but they both have bigger concerns, plus there’s Wesley.
