What is it about Charles that fascinates women? Charles Jennings is living a good life. He's a local truck-driver, and he has everything a red-blooded man could want. Nice cars, a fine house, and willing women. Especially women. He's a vibrant, middle-aged man who has worked his way through four wives and countless affairs---one with his own sister-in-law. He's joined with one of the most influential and well-known gospel singing organizations in his hometown, and that gives him the extra clout to keep things running his way. But, something has to give. And it does. A vow of revenge from beyond the grave marks the beginning of the end of Charles' pampered life. The exposure of his lust, deceit, and betrayal threatens to blow the roof off of the small, sleepy, town of Senatobia, Mississippi, sending many of its prominent citizens into a frenzy of guilt, accusation, and vengeance. |
