25-year-old Dreux McCoy was in no condition to fall in love. When she loses someone close, the easiest thing for her to do is shut down, but after she runs into Kamron Vega, he wakes something inside of her that she had closed off a long time ago. As secrets start to unravel, Dreux does the one thing she’s best at: she runs.  

Kamron Vega was the man people loved and feared in the streets. After a brief stint in prison, Kam knew that it wasn’t the life he wanted to live anymore. Trying to put things in place to walk away from the streets, he sets his eyes on the beautiful Dreux. A game of cat and mouse begins, but when an unfortunate series of events occurs, the game is cut short.
